On the morning of December 24, we will be posting a special service video online. We hope that you will use this video to worship with us as we light the final candles of our Advent wreaths, sing Christmas songs together, and hear the Christmas story one more time…from some very special guests!

For our final online service of 2020, we want to hear from you about how you are doing in this season and learn how we can be praying for one another in the new year. BECOME // LIGHTHOUSE SHELTER HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE
Let’s help our neighbors at the Lighthouse bring Christmas cheer to children and families experiencing homelessness this holiday season. You can learn more about how to help our community this season HERE.
BECOME // MEDICAL DEBT FORGIVENESS
More than $30,000 has come in so far! We are continuing to raise funds on behalf of churches in Maryland to purchase and forgive medical debt in our state through Christmas day. ALL money donated will go directly to purchase and forgive debt through our partnership with RIP Medical Debt, a non-profit company aiming to abolish the medical debt currently bought and sold by collections agency throughout the United States. Right now, RIP has control of a debt portfolio for Maryland totaling $4.5M. We can purchase and forgive that debt for a cost of $45K, or one penny to the dollar. This is a tremendous opportunity to make an enormous difference in the lives of our neighbors!

BECOME // LOOKING FOR YOUTH VOLUNTEERS!
As our youth group begins to grow, we are looking for more adult volunteers to help lead discussions and plan events for young people in our church. This is such important work…with such wonderful kids! If you would be interested in joining the team, please get in touch with Kenny (kenny@revolutionannapolis.com).
BECOME // HAT AND GLOVE DRIVE
The Assistance League of the Chesapeake is looking to collect hats and gloves for children in need this holiday season. If you would like to help, you can drop off donations at Taylor Funeral Home on weekdays between 9-4.

As we continue to gather online, one consequence is that there are fewer opportunities for casual conversations or even quick words with Kenny or other members of our Revolution staff. BECOME // FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
If you’ve been looking for a chance to serve our community on a weekend, we have an opportunity for you! LoveAACO is sponsoring a “pop-up pantry” every Saturday at Tyler Heights Elementary. Thousands of guests are being served through this location, and there is a high need for helping hands. To learn more, click the link HERE and sign up to help out!
