Weekly Announcements:

BELONG // SEPTEMBER 28 SCAVENGER HUNT!

Save the date! On September 28, Revolution will be having a church-wide scavenger hunt throughout downtown Annapolis, followed by a church cookout in the evening. It will be an awesome time to share in some fun, make new friends, and have a good time in the city our church calls home! Make sure to put September 28 on your calendar and stay tuned for more announcements!

BECOME // FURNITURE DONATIONS FOR THE HARBOR HOUSE COMMUNITY

Our friends in the Harbor House community are in need of donated furniture to help out their new neighbors this summer! The “Sophisticated Grands,” a group of grandmothers in the neighborhood who help provide food and practical supplies for others in their community, have asked us to help them restock their supply center. If you have extra furniture you would be willing to donate, please let Kenny know and he will help coordinate a way to drop it off. This is a tremendous way to help the people of the Harbor House neighborhood by supporting the leaders in that community! Please consider making a gift this week.

BECOME // NEEDS AT GERMANTOWN ELEMENTARY

As the school year approaches, there are several ways we can all support our friends at Germantown Elementary School, who host our church services each Sunday! The first is by signing up to help with one of their most successful fundraisers each year: operating a parking lot for Navy football home games! The first game this year is on August 31, which is before school starts. This means they are anxious about having sufficient volunteers…which is where we can come in! If you can help meet this need, sign up today HERE. In the weeks to come, we will be sharing more opportunities to partner with Germantown…let’s show this school generosity and kindness this fall that will amaze them!

BECOME // SHARING YOUR STORY

Over the last few months, we have introduced story sharing into our regular Sunday services. We believe that sharing stories is one of the most important ways we connect with one another, encourage one another, and support one another in our journeys. It’s through our stories that we truly understand we are not alone, and that our beliefs about God and faith grow when we talk about them! If you would be interested in sharing a story about your life, faith, or questions at Revolution—even anonymously—you can learn more about how to do that by talking with Fred Miller, who will be serving as our Storytelling Coordinator this year. He would love to hear from you! You can reach Fred by email at fredmiller4life@gmail.com.

BELONG // REVMIDDLE AND REVHIGH

If you are a middle schooler or high schooler, Revolution’s new youth group will be meeting during second service on Sunday! Make sure to be there…and if you have any questions, please get in touch with our team leader, Shawn Livingston, at shawn@revolutionannapolis.com.

BELONG // SUMMER GROUPS

Here at Revolution, some of our groups shut down over the summer…but not all of them! There are still opportunities to connect and grow, and we would love for you to be a part of them. To learn more about our current group offerings, click HERE.

BECOME // ONLINE GIVING

If you would like to give to this and other ministries in Annapolis, please consider setting up re-occurring giving through our safe, secure web portal HERE
