Catch Up with the Current Series:

Weekly Announcements:

BECOME // “SHALOM” MOSAIC AUCTIONS: LAST CHANCE

Last week, we opened bidding on the 5 mosaics put together by our Creative Team from the broken pieces of the tiles we painted during the last series. This week, we are closing out the bidding process! Make sure to put in your best offer, and after second service, we will contact winners and get the pieces to you. Remember: all proceeds go to purchase and forgive medical debt through our partner organization, RIP Medical, so make sure to stop by, place a bid, and enjoy a rare “win-win” scenario: not only can you take a piece of our church’s story home with you…you can make a real difference in the lives of people in our community and around the country who are struggling with medical debt! BECOME // BLOOD DRIVE JUNE 9

Revolution will be hosting our first blood drive of 2019 on June 9! The AAMC BloodMobile will be on-site all morning, and we really hope everyone will plan to either come a bit early or stay a bit later in order to make time to donate. Donating blood has an immediate impact on the lives of our neighbors, and it’s one of the most meaningful ways we can support the city we love. Our church has been a faithful partner to AAMC for years—let’s keep up the good work and give!

BECOME // FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER

Our dear Ed Giard and his family will be moving to South Carolina this summer. There are a million ways we are going to miss this awesome family…but one of the most important is Ed’s work with the Harbor House neighborhood food pantry. Many of you have donated paper bags and food to this project…but as Ed and his family move, there will be a need for a monthly delivery volunteer to commit 1-2 hours each month to shuttling supplies for the project. If you are interested and available to help with this—either by filling the role yourself or by being part of a support team—please email either Kenny (kenny@revolutionannapolis.com) or Ed (edwardedward305@aol.com) to let them know!

BELONG // REVMIDDLE AND REVHIGH

If you are a middle schooler or high schooler, Revolution’s new youth group will be meeting during second service on Sunday! Make sure to be there…and if you have any questions, please get in touch with our team leader, Shawn Livingston, at shawn@revolutionannapolis.com.

BECOME // SHARING YOUR STORY

Over the last month, we have introduced story sharing into our regular Sunday services. We believe that sharing stories is one of the most important ways we connect with one another, encourage one another, and support one another in our journeys. It’s through our stories that we truly understand we are not alone, and that our beliefs about God and faith grow when we talk about them! If you would be interested in sharing a story about your life, faith, or questions at Revolution—even anonymously—you can learn more about how to do that by talking with Fred Miller, who will be serving as our Storytelling Coordinator this year. He would love to hear from you! You can reach Fred by email at fredmiller4life@gmail.com.

BELONG // SUMMER GROUPS

Here at Revolution, some of our groups shut down over the summer…but not all of them! There are still opportunities to connect and grow, and we would love for you to be a part of them. To learn more about our current group offerings, click HERE.

BECOME // SUPPLYING A LOCAL FOOD PANTRY

A local food pantry has opened in the Harbor House community, and they have a need for paper grocery bags! Bags are often available for donation at local grocery stores, which is where you come in: the next time you go to the store, please take a moment to ask Customer Service if they have bags they would be willing to donate. You can drop off the bags on Sunday mornings at the Welcome + Info table, or you can give them directly to Edward Giard, who will be acting as our point person with this project. Lastly, this is an ongoing need, so even if you can’t help this week, there will be more opportunities to give as we move forward with this exciting and important initiative!
