Catch Up With the Last Series:
ACT // PRAYING FOR THE BURNETTS
Please make sure to join us this Sunday as we celebrate Josh, Sarah, Savannah, Grady, and Madelyn Burnett for their loving service to Revolution for the past 9 years! In 2019, Josh is stepping into a new role in our city, developing and launching the Flourish platform, which will connect the people of our city with the organizations where they will be the best fit. We are going to end our services this week in a focused time of prayer for this family, and we hope that everyone will be there to tell the Burnetts how much we love and appreciate them. See you at our normal service times of 9:30 and 11:00!
ACT // SUPPLYING A LOCAL FOOD PANTRY
A local food pantry has opened in the Harbor House community, and they have a need for paper grocery bags! Bags are often available for donation at local grocery stores, which is where you come in: the next time you go to the store, please take a moment to ask Customer Service if they have bags they would be willing to donate. You can drop off the bags on Sunday mornings at the Welcome + Info table, or you can give them directly to Edward Giard, who will be acting as our point person with this project. Lastly, this is an ongoing need, so even if you can’t help this week, there will be more opportunities to give as we move forward with this exciting and important initiative!
CONNECT // MOMS GROUP
The Revolution MOMS group will be meeting this Wednesday, January 9th, at 120 Sumner Road, Annapolis from 9:15 - 11 am. The topic of this week is "Finding Simpicity in our Lives". If possible listen to Jen Hatmaker's first podcast of the new year (and a repeat of January 2018) featuring Emily Ley and her talk entitled "Creating Space for Joy with Simplified Living" as a means of preparing for our group conversation. Childcare is provided.
CONNECT // 2019 FAMILY RETREAT
We’re trying something new this year with Revolution’s 1st Family Retreat in Berkeley Springs, WV! Our hope is that Family Retreat will be a time of rest, fun, and connection for the members of our Revolution family. Whether you’re new to camping or an old pro, Family Retreat is for you, and we hope you’ll join us! Save the date for May 16-19, 2019 (but feel free to come late or leave early).
