CELEBRATE! // REVOLUTION’S 8TH BIRTHDAY

THIS SUNDAY, we are going to be celebrating Revolution’s 8th birthday together! For the event, we are going to be holding one joint service at 10:00 am, followed by a potluck lunch. We are extremely excited to share our story thus far, as well as our vision for the years to come, with all of you. We hope everyone can be there! For the potluck, we are asking that everyone with a last name beginning with the letters A-M bring a side and everyone with a last name beginning with the letters N-Z bring a dessert to share. It’s going to be a wonderful time for us to re-connect with one another, and to celebrate the incredible things God has already done in our community, as well as the things He is continuing to do. If you would like to volunteer to help with the planning or preparations for this event, please email Josh and let him know (josh@revolutionannapolis.com)!

CONNECT // REVOLUTION MOMS GROUP

Our MOMS group at Revolution meets every second Wednesday of the month.  We will be meeting this week on October 10th at 9:30 til 11 at the home of Cathy Miller, 500 Wilson Road, Annapolis, MD  21401.  This week’s topic will be “How to Talk to People You Disagree With.”  Childcare is provided.

ACT // SUPPLYING A NEW FOOD PANTRY

A new food pantry is opening up in the Harbor House community, and they have a need for paper grocery bags! Bags are often available for donation at local grocery stores, which is where you come in: the next time you go to the store, please take a moment to ask Customer Service if they have bags they would be willing to donate. You can drop off the bags on Sunday mornings at the Welcome + Info table, or you can give them directly to Edward Giard, who will be acting as our point person with this project. Lastly, this is an ongoing need, so even if you can’t help this week, there will be more opportunities to give as we move forward with this exciting and important initiative!

EXPLORE // Q COMMONS IS COMING TO ANNAPOLIS

We are partnering with Weems Creek and Downtown Hope to bring Q Commons to Annapolis on Thursday, October 25 at 7:00pm. Q Commons is an opportunity for us to gather alongside friends, neighbors, and colleagues to become informed about important topics, and learn how to advance good right here in Annapolis. Our city will join more than 150 others around the world in this one of a kind event that is truly global and local. Get your tickets at www.qcommons.com/annapolis

ACT // LEARN MORE ABOUT FLOURISH

The "Flourish" project aspires to connect people here and around the country with serving opportunities in their local communities. If you are interested in this project and would like to learn more, or even help out, please let Josh know by sending him a quick email at josh@revolutionannapolis.com.

ACT // ONLINE GIVING
