At Revolution, our goal is to do more than babysit your kids.
We believe that there are two powerful influences on this planet that were initiated by God: The Church and the Family. Rather than running parallel as two separate influences, our desire at Revolution is to see the influence of the church and the family combine in the lives of the children.
We believe that what will matter most in 100 years is that our kids had an authentic relationship with Jesus. This hope drives the focus, strategy, and intention of the environments we are creating each week for your children, as well as the ways that we communicate with you.
Just as there are no perfect churches, we know that there are no perfect families. Our desire is to partner with you as a parent, no matter where you think you are spiritually, to impact your family.
Resources for Parents:
Revolution Kids:
Following our Revolution Kids! Class, we send home the following pages so that you can continue the conversations and lessons with your child. If your child is logged into our check in system, you should get these emailed to you weekly. If you are not getting these emails, please email scott@revolutionannnapolis.com
Preschool
For your preschool-aged Kids, we send home the follow-ng each week:
SMALL TALK CARDS: Each Sunday, this card will give you The Basic Truth, which is the verse or verses that guide the Bible Story from the day, the bottom line from the lesson, and ways to review and apply this big idea of each week with your child. Use this to reinforce the Sunday morning worship experience with your child. Place it on the refrigerator, use it as a bookmark, and help your student learn the verse of the month.
For your elementary aged (K-5) child:
Elementary
GOD TIME CARDS: Be on the lookout for the weekly “GOD TIME” Cards that reinforce the weekly lesson. These are filled with interactive experiences that help your student apply the monthly virtue and the big idea of each week.
FRIDGE DOOR CARDS: Use these weekly Fridge Door cards by placing them somewhere prominent in your home. Use the card to review the memory verse, Bible story, and bottom line from the Sunday worship experi- ence. This is a great help your child make the Bible come alive in a relevant way
