Hey Tim,

Hope everything's going great in MD! Can't say thanks enough for this message man. It's timeliness in my life is something that can only be described as "God-sent."

I sat down this morning to have my daily "quiet time." I had it totally planned out. Exactly 20 minutes of reading from youversion.com and then exactly 10 minutes of journaling and prayer. Pretty sad that I even have that part of my life down to the wire nowadays.

I had to "get done" so quickly because I have to get into the office to plan out a retreat I'm taking our teens on this weekend. Ironically, the theme of the retreat is "Simplifying your life and spending time with God." The irony of this whole situation is hilarious and kind of disgusting at the same time.

I'm not even sure how I ended up on this website or what made me start listening to the sermon, but it was very disarming and eye-opening. My life has NO margin right now, and that's something that I've been struggling with a lot lately. The problem was that I couldn't really wrap my mind around what the struggle was until I heard this message. It helped me kind of "name" the problem and put into words what I was feeling.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks. I pray that you continue making a difference in Annapolis, and that your life continues to be full. Not just full of stuff and productivity, but full of Jesus. Thanks again for the reminder!

I have never had a relationship with God or Jesus. My dad is Jewish and anti-religion. But I was raised that you should give to others less fortunate, that this is something that must be part of your life, your identity. It isn't easy to find people who really believe this to hang out with, people who really give. But I don't know anything about god or jesus, to me its what you give when you are alive that matters. I guess I am not a believer but I am a giver. would i find a home at revolution?

some friends and I recieved your material in the mail. We are the younger end of the baby boomers. some of us are disabled and feel out of place at traditoneal church services.
We love jesus, but feel a need for a church service such as what you are offering. Do you have older people/ we are in our 40's -50's in age.
